I literally gasped and bought one of those Jeff pins off ebay so damned fast... he will immediately adorn my metalhead vest in a place of mighty prominence. This was probably my most "HELL YEAH" reaction to any Eisner win I can remember; which seems goofy on the face of it but really isn't, for the reasons you brought up. As for the rest of the newsletter, I can't even decide on something to highlight because it's all SO good.
A fan got me one of those (and a Jeff lanyard) previously, so I was lucky, but they're so fun. I have so many cool pins -- and no good jackets for them. :(

I DID start X-Men 97 -- I watched the first two episodes and the action was amazing...but the soap opera is maybe gonna be tough for me -- but I think I'll keep trying -- some of it TRULY delighted me. Knowing Rogue/Magneto is going to happen has me... anxious.
OMG ... so much that is SO good. Butttt also maybe have an emotional support animal/person/stuffie handy. And don't miss the post credit scene after the last episode. I'll say no more!

What I'd REALLY love to see first are a series of animated shorts -- like the Groot shorts. But a movie cameo would not be bad at all! <3
