Quick post today to show off my CAPTAIN MARVEL OMNIBUS which arrived in the mail late last week. It’s truly gorgeous. So this is out on 5/31/23 and is like $100 or something crazy — but it’s BIG and beautiful and collects the first 26 issues of my CAPTAIN MARVEL run, plus my CAPTAIN MARVEL: THE END story AND my STAR mini-series. So a lot of great content packed in here. Obviously some people love omnibi and some are not so into it… but if you ARE into it and enjoy my CAPTAIN MARVEL run, I’d encourage you guys to pick this one up — if only so we can ensure that we get a Volume 2 collecting the rest of the run through issue 50!
Can’t wait to get one in hand. Omni’s are tough to read sometimes- but they look so good on the book shelf! (Also really nice for research if the interwebs are failing me!)
Congrats on a stunner. The series derserves it. Cap is this sneaky book that every month blows me away, even if mentally it’s not the “top of my pile”. You def deserve all the accolades that I read/hear- and can’t wait to see what that bounces into!!!
Wow, that entire run has been beautiful, but the actual cover for the omni is absolutely terrific (and has probably convinced me to buy the wrist breaking tome). Great storytelling, too, and I cannot praise it enough. Speaking of praise, I never bother to write notes because I'm damn lazy for sure, but Black Cloak has been such a great read and visual treat from the start that I wanted to share my thanks. Simply a marvelous book. I do hope more people seek it out as it's really unlike anything else out there. Impressive world building...an engaging mystery with fully formed characters...just so much coolness in there, I love it! Congratulations on creating something that really kicks ass, along with all of your other fantastic work.
I am super excited about the omnibus. It looks awesome Kelly. That back cover is one of my favorites covers from the run too. I managed to snag the carol as the accuser hero clix to go with my deadpool+jeff one (which rules). They are chilling on my work desk. Definitely ordering the omni.
Looking forward to black cloak 5 as well. That cover is also very cool
Amazing! I was enjoying Black Cloak so much, I googled for any other work you had done together, saw Heart in a Box, & wrote it down on my list of things to look for. The very next trip to the B&N, there it was! I haven't read it yet, but looking forward to it.
