So excited! Can you pitch to Disney for a series of shorts episodes of It's Jeff? 😀

I wish it was that simple. I obviously hope we get there at some point (and sooner would be better!) But just as an example of how long these things can take -- "Baby Groot" -- who became insanely popular thanks to movie (not a comic) -- so a huge advantage -- is just NOW getting a little series of shorts on Disney+

I can only imagine the process. I am hopeful though :D

Woo, more Jeff! Any word on whether these will be collected in print?

I know Marvel plans to do a print edition (or that's what I was told at least -- and since I see them doing it with other MU strips, I have no reason to doubt it). But they haven't updated me on where it stands -- my guess is that they are either waiting for more content (Season 2 would create enough I think?) to collect a more significant volume. And/or they're still trying to figure out the best formatting.

In each Jeff strip there's at least one panel that's "longer" -- which we did on purpose -- as we were trying to lean into the web formatting and make something that felt unique to the model. We did know it could potentially cause issues for eventual printing, but we were making something specifically to be read digitally and we wanted to respect that and also take advantage of it.

But yeah, it leaves some question marks for how to print it. It's not as simple as just throwing the panels on a page as is maybe true for some of the other MU content.

Yeah formatting is tricky. I have X-Men Unlimited Latitude (the Hickman-Shalvey issues) but not sure how they translated some of the cool vertical panels.

That panel with the firefly ... I'm dead! 💀

I don't know what it is, but I just find fireflies so absurdly silly and magical and amazing from both a scientific perspective but also as something I associate completely with childhood and wonder.

Once again, I absolutely love Captain Marvel #39, what you do in this book with the light and dark and highs and lows floors me every time! I can't wait to see how Carol's "trial" pans out and I agree with her - "this reeks of shenanigans" 😂 I mean how dare they deem themselves fit to judge her worth!? See what I mean, very dark! Roll on #40! - take care and thank you

Very exciting! Btw, I saw your tweets about your Adobe madness. Just in case you don’t already know about his, there may be a way to save some money. If you’re just using Photoshop and Acrobat, an alternative option is to use the Photography plan which would get you photoshop for $10/month and use Preview instead of Acrobat. I’m guessing you probably need Acrobat as a writer, but just in case you could switch, it may be less frustrating. Also, Preview is Mac only. So if you’re on Windows then you can’t use that. But the photography plan works on Mac or Windows.
