It seriously saved my sanity recently while I sat in urgent care with my crabby 7 year old for 30 minutes waiting on a strep test (it was negative, yay?) But she LOVED "It's Jeff" so much. She was very annoyed when the nurse came back and interupted our reading. We had to finish the rest in the parking lot and all the other issues at home. She says her favorite is the one where Jeff stole all the heroes items to become super Jeff. Anyway, needless to say that plush is on order! LOL
It's pretty amazing to be getting a Captain Marvel omnibus! And I'm perfectly dumbfounded by just how good Mattia's art is looking for The Cull. 🙌

oh man A JEFF PLUSHIE! I said I'd be first in line, I'm gonna be first in line. I was initially bummed as I refuse to pre-order from Sideshow due to how they will cancel a FULLY PAID pre-order after sending you one email. They needed to charge me for shipping, and my card had been replaced. I didn't see the ONE EMAIL so they canceled my order after having $600 of my $ for year. Oh fun part, if I'd not called and complained, they'd have kept my deposit ($60). I view a sideshow pre-order as pretty much worthless. There are many reasons if you don't reply after one email they'll cancel your order too, my pre-order took a few months longer and they sent me an email that if I'd not responded to it, they'd have also canceled my order (but in that case you automatically get your non-refundable deposit back.). So make sure to pay attention to your sideshow email _and_ double check that your cc on file is correct when your items ship! But, I was annoyed that WHILE THEY STILL HAD MY MONEY (it hadn't been refunded yet as the process takes 3-5 days _at sideshow_) and I called 15 minutes after they sent me the email they canceled my order, my only option was SEND THEM MORE MONEY on a new order to get what I'd ordered. I still haven't re-ordred the statue -- at least I could. My pre-order was IMMEDIATELY put back into the pool where anyone can order it. If it'd been sold out, I would have been out of luck. Which is why I ask "Why did I pre-order then?" So my issue isn't with Sideshows quality (I love all the statues I own), it's their cancelation policy. (For a $25 plushie w/o a deposit, it's not a big deal.). But BTW, I got FREE SHIPPING when I ordered from QMXOnline (it was some kind of promotional offer). I then pre-ordered Goose and got free shipping too.... ;-). I'll see how my experience with them is. it's always nice to give $ as close to the source as possible. Same price to me, but Quantum Mechanix is making more off the sale to me than the sale from Sideshow as it's the same price from both. The more money Quantum Mechanix makes, the more likely they'll make more. (Naturally affiliate links change that too! Money to original artists > money to corporation. I'm all about making sure that creators get paid.)
And also... Congrats on the Eisner nomination for It's Jeff! My kid and I binge-read them all in one go. We couldn't get enough. I read too much and struggle to keep track of everything, but It's Jeff is actually my all time favourite ever. Ever ever :D
Aaaah finally a new Captain Marvel, feels like it has been 3000 years! Classic that my little nacho-sized brain didn’t see the callback to the #1 cover but now that I did I can’t I unsee it. (Comics are fun!)
I feel you on Under the Banner of Heaven, it asks a lot. I’ve been more on a bit of a Star Wars kick and Cloak and Dagger (remember that show?) kick now that Kenobi and Ms. Marvel are coming out.
Cloak and Dagger was so under rated! I keep wondering if it will be showing up on Disney Plus eventually since they did a few crossover episodes with Runaways.
I just did a total read through of Runaways and now we're re-watching the series with our 12 YO. She's very into it. Overall I really like the way they adapted it and the casting.

That would be great! Cloak and Dagger definitely was unloved.
I’d love to see more MCU fans be introduced to some of these great characters, like Nico. There’s so many stories out there to explore with them.
And many of my MCU (only) friends are really starting to read comics now of their favorite characters so that gives me hope!
