wow. that is a hell of a throw down and i love it. Dinah started the fight off right with that below the belt punch. lol. then the back to back pause and back to the punching and kicking. so cinematic and amazing.
also, just got my CM omnibus and it looks amazing and CM 50 is excellent.
In the original BoP and Black Canary stories they do sometimes use both Sister/Mother for the relationship between Dinah and Sin, although Sister is used more. I err toward Sister for two primary reasons 1. Because it tends to be a bit less loaded as a term just generally for readers. But more importantly 2. Because in that story where Dinah and Sin first meet and become close, there's an authority figure already that is "Mother" and it's a pretty bad connotation, so I always thought Dinah (the writers) leaned into Sister more than Mother as a word that Sin might have a better association with. YMMV but Sister has felt much more comfortable for me for this.

I definitely understand where your interpretation is coming from. Either way, I'm glad Sin is back. It gives me more to be excited about!
