I also wish your deadpool run had been longer. Loved the king of the monsters. It was great and i was sad when it ended. although i did laugh at the dutch oven showing up in the last book. Sorry you didn’t get to keep going. Hopefully you will get to come back to it.
Also, Venomized Jeff was terrifying and awesome and he ruled.
Go to for laugh...
Middle seasons of Red Vs Blue. The episode This One Goes to Eleven is great!
Books
Lords and Ladies by Terry Pratchett. Some of the best Wizards and Witches in all the books and a pretty neat take on A Midsummer’s Night Dream. Definitely my favorite discworld book.
Star Trek: How Much For Just The Planet? It is fantastic and hilarious.
For a pick me up or distraction, one cannot beat silly cat videos on you tube ... the ones where they misjudge jumps or get freaked out by unexpected cucumbers are particularly good.
Kelly! So much good stuff packed into this update. It's like a Magic Cookie Bar of news, trivia, introspection, etc.!
Your Inktober pieces are cool and funny. I think the Worry Wart is my favorite.
Today's Question is a good one. I'm sure I have other go-to things to chase away the blues but my head went to certain songs I play that always seem to make me smile/laugh. Pizza Time by the Gregory Brothers, CNR (or a million of his other songs) by Weird Al, and/or Seagulls (Stop It Now) by Bad Lip Reading.
No Bonus Prize for me. That quote is kiiiiiiind of familiar but I just can't place it!
For me it’s the Charlie Oliver Nutzo the Squirrel video and commentary. Gets me every time. You can Google the video and here’s the commentary:
Preparing for the 2021 Summer Olympics, Nutzo the squirrel has just smashed the World Record. And in a move which will immortalize him, he invented a new style of changing grip in mid flight, to be called “The Nutzorama”.
It’s def Sandoval (panel from issue 10) so you’re bang on!
No bonus for me- but that sounds like something Tina Fey would say
For laughs...mmmm this was a hard one because there’s a lot of things I love that make me laugh- but the one I go back to time and again and still laugh as hard as the first time is probably Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. It’s such a goofy movie, but the cameos alone have me rolling on every viewing.
On Namor, I have never understood the rehab of his obsession with Sue. Mostly nude dude grabs woman and runs toward the water, repeatedly, seems like the definition of problematic to me.
It is like someone selling an ab exercise program bribed Marvel.
Hi Kelly. Any time I want to laugh I put on the cowbell SNL sketch. It's kind of a banal choice but Will Farrel....

Hi Kelly!! I don’t have one anymore but my go to for laughter used to be watching the late night hosts mock Trump on their shows from 2017-19.

Ah! Yes! Thanks for confirming. It's amazing how much everything starts to blend together in your mind after a few years of this!
Hahaha it blends together as a reader sometimes.... I can only imagine as a creator as well, lol
Wow. That was dense.
