Big announcement today as my SCARLETT mini-series from Skybound/Hasbro — with art by Marco Ferrari and colors by Lee Loughridge — was announced today! Our oversized issue #1 hits June 5th. Ha! Didn't see this coming. I stumbled into the Energon comics last summer and have enjoyed them all since. They are far better than they have any right to be. Very smart adaptation of the source material (ie, er, 1980s toys).
I audibly gasped when I saw the announcement! I've been getting the other titles digitally (except for Transformers, because DWJ is too good not to have in print) but I will definitely need physical copies of this! Especially since my GI Joe nostalgia has been ramping up after a long dormancy thanks to the Classified figures being kind of ridiculous quality at a normal price point (well, as normal as that gets these days).
Also, congrats on Jeff being voted Marvel Insider's favorite breakout character! As if we had any doubt!

Kelly are you the person that recommend Upload on Amazon? I finally got around to watching it and damn if it doesn't have the most gasp-worthy cliffhangers! Reminds me of your work a lot that way actually! 😜 It's really hitting that comedy, mystery, romance, and sci-fi sweet spot. Great cast too.
As somebody who, admittedly, doesn’t know much on this universe… I can whole heartedly say I CANNOT wait for this! Excited to dip my toes in these stories!
YOOOOOOOOO JOE!!!!! You have no idea how stoked I am for this! I vividly remember shipping Scarlet and Snake Eyes watching the cartoon and feeling very vindicated when #21 came out. The amount of my favorite characters you've written/are writing is staggering!! Cannot freaking wait for this and everything else you got going on! Hope all are well and get as much as possible!
