If you've got an appointment they've got it pretty streamlined and about as painless as it can be made -- but you have to wait weeks for an appt -- so that's not ideal. And probably explains why there were probably 100 people there waiting in chairs with no appointments.
I don't even know what the DMV is but if it's anything to do with cars it's always a pain in the arse!
