Oh man!!! Fantastic!

I personally voted for the one of each (one signed, one unsigned). Mostly in case I want to get it graded, or maybe take the unsigned copy to a convention and have it signed in person at some point in the future!

Yeah, this was my thinking too -- I just want to make it as flexible for people as possible.

That cover is glorious.

Also, Ryan brings up a great point. I hadn't thought about that and I voted wrong.

this is _just_ like getting two X-Men cards that i don't know much about in the card battles. <clicks vote button> ...i've made a huge mistake. :D

Lol, I feel the same way. Too late :) Also tho, Dan's idea of double signing in a different color sounds awesome 😎

Haha totally. And i always think, I’m going to really think before i click. Nope.

Oh yeah, that is a good idea. Nice one Dan :D

I was thinking that too!

But if they both come signed I’d still be excited! I’d try to get the already signed copy double-signed at that convention. With a different color marker. And slightly offset. So there was a cool shadow effect. You know what I’m talking about, right? That’s be awesome!

Hmm, maybe I should have voted for both signed?

That’s why I voted for having one signed. A lot of options with what to do if you want to get it slabbed!

I’m also very much a purist as well though, and I appreciate unsigned books typically as a general rule. Typically if I get a book signed at a show somewhere, I have an unsigned copy as well already lol

Immensely helpful. Obviously I should know what I'm doing, but in this and so many other ways I don't really.

Thanks Kelly.

Not at all. We're all doing so much and ingesting so much and subscribed to so much, it's impossible to keep track of it all. Happy to help. And thanks for your support.

I don't know the difference between the terms being tossed around here: Founders, Paid Subscribers, and Yearly Subscribers. What distinguishes these tiers? Which am I?

Kelly Thompson's avatar

We now only have 2 paid tiers -- monthly or yearly (you get the same thing, but paying for a year all at once gets you a discount compared to paying monthly).

In Year 1 we had three tiers, the monthly and yearly and an exclusive Founders Tier that was $200/year and got you everything the yearly did -- plus some physical rewards -- mostly signed copies of the books we make here.

You are currently a monthly subscriber. Hope that helps!

I voted for both copies signed. Although, to be perfectly honest, I'd prefer them to be signed and notarized. You know, just to make everything legal and aboveboard.

(Whoops! Turns out I'm not a Founder. I just checked, and it says "Paid Subscriber." Sorry if my vote messes thing up. But I'm sure you'll agree any mix-up was worth it due to my hilarious joke above.)

Yeah, I have you on the spreadsheet as Yearly, not Founder. Sorry, Rob. Insight still helpful. Jokes too. ;D

Yeah, I should pay more attention to that kind of thing. I really did vote for the two signed books if you want to subtract my faulty vote from the poll results. Sorry about the confusion!

Not at all! It's no big deal. Plus we may need a re-do on the poll anyway as a bunch of people are reconsidering their instinctual vote. Haha.
