Well, let’s play a little Friday game, shall we?

The brilliant Javier Pina (with a layout assist from the also brilliant David Lopez) and coloring from terrific Yen Nitro did this absolutely gorgeous double page party spread for CAPTAIN MARVEL #50:

And though I know artists loathe things like this (I know I certainly would) — it felt like exactly what our issue needed — and so Javi took the bullet and made it happen and honestly? It brings me A LOT of joy. So thank you, Javi! And also thank you for your sacrifices so we can ignore what we’re supposed to be doing this Friday afternoon to instead play a little game.

On twitter people are trying to name all the characters, and so I say, let’s do that, but let’s do it here instead, and let’s make it a contest and whoever gets them all first (or gets the most/closest/fastest/etc/whatever) wins a signed copy of CAPTAIN MARVEL #50 from yours truly (plus some other fun stuff of course).

Here’s the spread again with with numbering to eliminate confusion:

Note: There are two acceptable answers for the gentleman at 14.

(edited to add: There are also 3 names I will accept for gentleman #3 and two I will accept for gentleman #10).

And you get a hint for slots 20 and 21 — they are not actually Marvel characters — AND you can probably figure out the answer to those two, if you’re stumped, by going on twitter and checking out my feed. ;D

ETA: I guess I didn’t put and end time on this and you really have to do that if there’s an actual prize happening.
