NOBODY LIKES THE FINE PRINT

Okay. So there’s a BIG exciting post happing TOMORROW that basically will be turning the Substack back on. Yay!!!! Then on Wednesday we get our first issue of THE CULL and then on Friday there’s ANOTHER exciting post…so many exciting posts!

BUT before we do all this. I just want to give those of you that have previously been paid subscribers a heads up that we’re turning the paid subscriptions back on tomorrow — Tuesday 8/15/23.

The great news is that this means we’ve got a lot of great new comics (and more!) rolling through here — and I’m excited to pitch it all to you. The less great news is that turning the paid option back on is slightly messy.

For most of you the Substack un-pausing tomorrow won’t mean anything as I am pretty sure because of the extensions I did last December that most of you will have time left on your subscriptions (I extended subscriptions in December and I paused the publication in January 2023 as you may recall). So when I turn this back on, I do NOT expect all of you to be billed and my conversations with Substack have confirmed that. However if you’re super concerned about it, try to check your account before tomorrow’s post.

Obviously I am very much hoping that most of you that were paid backers before will be excited about our plans and come on to support us build this stuff for another year — but if you’re concerned that you might be billed tomorrow, do what you gotta do. I don’t want anyone being blindsided and I always want subscribing here to be a choice.

Not Fine Print, but while I’m here I wanted to alert you all that the WEBSTORE has been updated with new stock and now includes not only THE CULL #1 (except the signed/numbered Founders covers which will be added later) — but also my HARLEY QUINN BLACK WHITE & REDDER #2 — which includes my first ever DC work in the form of a short story with the undefeatable Annie Wu.

Please note than any orders placed this week will NOT be shipped until next week — due to it being huge launch week for both THE CULL, my first DC Work, and as you’ll see tomorrow VERY EXCITING NEW SUBSTACK GOODIES!

Okay. I have many many things to finish before I can roll this stuff out to you AND I have to go do an interview AND it’s 3:30pm and I haven’t had lunch…so signing off. But I’ll catch you tomorrow with some very fun plans that I’ve sorta been dying to share with you.
