Did a bunch of fun BIRDS OF PREY PR this weekend in the form of a couple of podcasts I thought you guys might want to know about.

First up a super fun look at BIRDS OF PREY #1 with AIPT — and these guys read a black and white version of issue 1 — so their excitement has me extra pumped!

And I was a little nervous about this podcast since it’s hosted on the Huntress Podcast Network…and we don’t have Huntress in our book, but they were an absolute delight that welcomed me so warmly to the BoP family.

They were also interested in hearing a song for each of our Birds and I had a lot of fun coming up with what those songs should be and I thought I’d highlight that here. All art by Leonardo Romero.

Can’t Break My Vibe is the song I picked for Harley during the podcast, and I still think the vibe and energy is perfect, but after thinking about it more, I also offer this alternate track for your listening pleasure:

Especially the video feels very chaotic energy Harley vibes. Up for anything. Nothing as you expect. :D

We also got an awesome in-depth look at everything that’s been teased so far about THE CULL from Jace at LRM. Pretty cool.

And we’re literally 15 days out from THE CULL being officially birthed into the world. I’m so excited to finally share it with you guys after all this lead up — and once you’ve all read issue 1 it really changes some of the images we can tease you with going forward.

And if THAT isn’t a tease, I don’t know what is. ;D

But I also thought I’d round up all of our creator quotes so far in one post… because I love them. <3

Thank you again for all your store orders! I was a bit overwhelmed but EVERYTHING from that first rush has been mailed as of last week with the exception of 5 International Orders I am struggling with (long story, don’t ask) and two outliers that I’ve already sent emails about.

If you placed an order last week (or this one) those orders will go out on Friday.

All contest winnings for the site have ALSO all been mailed now (except a couple outliers that have not answered their emails).

So if you’re a US resident expecting something and don’t receive it this week, shoot me an email and we’ll figure out what went wrong.

Good news is since the store is open and functioning and everything has been mailed, we’ll be able to get those THE CULL #1 Founders Packages out very efficiently this time. I expect them to go out right away when the issues come in! <3
