Thank you so much. I confess it has been humbling to hear people talking about it being the Wonder Woman that a whole new generation of readers will know. I'm in awe of that being said, let alone maybe being true.
I LOVED Medusa’s design in the annual. The gorgon style is so so unique and like semi-monstrous in the most interesting way. Hayden draws and designs great women, even among the most conventionally beautiful ones none of them look the same at all. You don’t see that in superhero comics all that much
Yeah, we were resistant to doing the wings for a bit because we worried it would feel too like Diana's "golden armor" -- but when we finally admitted it was what the design needed it just popped. Still, the talons are my favorite element that really distinguishes the armor from any kind of "normal armor" -- well, I also adore how similar the helmet is to Diana's. ;D
I have the annual sitting on my nightstand, eager to dive in. As ever, the book is just humming on all cylinders. Team up with Bats, exquisite. First chapter of "Season of the Witch," crikey, she's gonna have her hands full of this Suicide Squad!
That's obvious and I keep shouting out the book in my newsletters during my weekly comic pickup section and of course, I shouted the annual this week. Just another powerful story that nobody has ever had the guts to tell: justice for Medusa. Athena, who is one of my writing goddesses and sits on my nightstand, looks spectacular!
Just adore this book so far. Sherman is on a whole other level. Y'all are really making a generational run and keeping us Diana fans well-fed.

That Athena double-page spread was stunning. The amount of detail put into the wings and feathers was just incredible. Loved the her design!
The entire story with Medusa as well was also so well done and just perfectly Diana in every way with her compassion. Another great issue, Kelly!!
Yeah, when it came in I was breathless.
Thanks, Damon.

Hayden, Mattia, and Matias are some of the best artists in the business. We have been so spoiled.
I really liked how Athena resembles an owl…especially her terrifying talons!

You guys have hit it out of the park with the Annual. Beautiful, beautiful stuff from everyone involved.
Thank you so much, Nick!
Wow, these are such gorgeous designs!! I am in LOVE with Athena.
It's like each one of Hayden's designs raises the bar for the next, I don't know how they do it!
Lovely to see Athena be visually and thematically linked to her owl deity image
Agreed. The talons REALLY make this armor distinctive to me. I love them.

Thanks so much, Ray. We are having a GREAT time.
